Jeffco Aquatic Masters made their mark in recent state swim meet

Nearly a dozen of the Jeffco Aquatic Masters swimmers, whose home pool is Apex PRD’s George J. Meyers Pool, attended the recent Colorado Masters Swimming Association State Meet in April. They achieved some impressive results. The men’s overall team ranking was 13th, the women’s overall team ranking was 14th , and the combined team ranking was 14th. The event took place Thursday afternoon, March 13 at the Apex Community Recreation Center, 6842 Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada. The competition was fierce as always, and onlookers watched and listened intently as the group was whittled down to three. Pickleball Nearly 50 intrepid pickleball players took to the courts September 26 and 28 for the first-ever Pickleball Mixer Challenge at the Apex Center, 13150 W. 72nd Avenue, Arvada.
