Birthdays always come around quickly, especially when the year has been a fun and active one. That was definitely the case for the Apex Field House, which opened to the public on December 10, 2011. The Apex Field House, located at 5724 Oak Street, has two four-season indoor arenas, which host youth and adult sports such as indoor soccer, lacrosse, volleyball, Wiffle Ball and flag football. On Saturday, December 15, the Apex Field House hosted the fourth annual holiday coed dodgeball tournament for Ralston House, an Arvada nonprofit assisting children who are the victims of abuse and neglect. The tournament drew 12 teams, and the registration fees, plus donated toys and gift cards, all went to benefit Ralston House. Congratulations to the winning team, Balls of Fury, pictured below.
