Community hike series starts Saturday, September 15
Saturday is shaping up to be a perfect day for a late-summer hike. Plan now to join Councilmember Mark McGoff for a free, local and very scenic outing right here in Arvada! Share conversation, enjoy the outdoors and deepen your appreciation for the natural treasures right in our backyard! Bring sunscreen and water, and wear appropriate hiking footwear.
Saturday, September 15, 9 am: Meet at the south end of the parking lot at Long Lake Ranch Sports Complex, south side of 64th Avenue west of Quaker Street. We will hike west on Van Bibber Trail and then south on Fairmont Trail.
Saturday, September 29, 9:30 am: Meet at Westwoods Park, west side of 70th and Quaker. We will hike west on Ralston Creek Trail to and around Tucker Lake.
Saturday, October 13, 9 am: Meet at Westwoods Park, west side of 70th and Quaker. We will hike west on Ralston Creek Trail, south under 64th Avenue on Blunn Trail to Van Bibber Trail.
