Music, fun, games, dancing and an abundance of eggs filled the Apex Field House on Saturday, March 31, 2012 for the annual free Easter Egg Hunt. As in recent years, separate egg hunts took place in waves based age groups, creating a more “level playing field” for babies all the way up to 8 year olds. After each group gathered their eggs, volunteers quickly re-supplied the area for the next group. Meanwhile, the successful egg-hunters exited out the arena doors to meet and greet the Easter Bunny. Outside, event sponsors Texas Roadhouse, Furr’s Cafeteria, the Goddard School and Seo’s Karate distributed refreshments and information. Approximately 500-600 children attended, and over 8,000 eggs were distributed.
