Catch the Thanksgiving spirit at APRD

OK, all you diehards…here’s a place for your pre-turkey workout, and a way to help the Arvada Community Food Bank! The Racquetball and Fitness Center, 12120 W. 64th Ave., is open from 7 am to noon Thanksgiving Day, and admission is free if you bring four cans of food for the Food Bank. For details call 304-431-9004.

Starting Thanksgiving week, the Community Recreation Center is collecting cleaning supplies for the Senior Resource Center, to help local seniors in need keep their homes safe and tidy. Just bring the donated items to 6842 Wadsworth Boulevard. For details call 303-425-9583.

The Apex Center is closed on Thanksgiving…but why not join other fun-seeking folks…skip the Friday shopping and go for calorie-consuming activities instead!

• SilverSneakers Master class, 7:30 to -8:30 am (free w/Center admission fee)

• Group Exercise Master Class, 9:30-11 am (free w/Center admission fee)

“After Burner” Cycle Burn Master Class, 9-10 am (free w/Center admission fee)
