Apex Park and Recreation District’s two outdoor pools, Secrest Pool at 6820 W. 66th Avenue and Lake Arbor Pool at 7451 W. 83rd Way, open for the summer season on Monday, May 29. At both locations, open swim at both pools is from noon to 6:00 p.m. daily. The summer outdoor pool season runs through August 18, and the annual dog swim is Saturday, August 19, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Secrest and Lake Arbor.

If swimming is your activity of choice, we have a perfect – and very affordable – option. Get yourself a summer swim pass, good at Lake Arbor and Secrest outdoor pools and Meyers pool. Passes are valid from May 29 through August 18.

You can purchase your summer swim pass now at Meyers Pool, 7900 Carr Drive, or beginning May 29, at Lake Arbor Outdoor Pool, 7451 W. 83rd Way, and Secrest Outdoor Pool, 6820 W. 66th Avenue. Swim all summer at these top-quality facilities for rock-bottom prices! For example, the summer swim pass fee for a resident youth age 4-18 is just $78. You can also purchase a 10-punch or 20-punch card, good for the three pools listed above. For full fee information, visit apexprd.org/activities/swimming.

For those wishing to include the Apex Center in their summer activity plans, consider an All Access summer pass, good at all four pools, all Apex Center activities, and cardio/weights at the Racquetball and Fitness Center and the Community Recreation Center. For more info on the All Access summer passes, contact Guest Services at /* email hidden; JavaScript is required */, 303-424-2739.

Janice, We have swim lesson until noon each day so we can’t do lap swimming before. Secrest has lap swimming from 12-1pm, M-F.
