2012 Summer Concert Series

Kick off your shoes and tickle your toes in the cool grass as you join us for a perfect summer evening! Bring a picnic supper, good friends and family and enjoy the music at McIlvoy Park, 5750 Upham St. It’s all free, thanks to grant funding from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District and to local sponsors including Apex PRD Foundation, Craft Carousel Gift Shop, Humana, Prospect Recreation and Park District, Sooper Credit Union, Arvada Festivals Commission, Centura Health at Home, Ed Tomlinson of RE/MAX Alliance, NextCare, City of Arvada Parks Department, Goddard School, Saunders, Hi-Country Wire and Telephone, and Friends of the Concerts.
Please remember…alcoholic beverages are not permitted in City of Arvada parks.
In case of inclement weather, performances move to the Community Recreation Center, 6842 Wadsworth Blvd.

July 19 – Banned in Japan – Vintage and Popular Rock ~~Tommy and the Tangerines-Pop, Rock, Dance, Soul~~
July 26 – Under the Radar – Contemporary to Classic Rock Covers

Children’s Friday Morning Series, 9:30-10:15 am

This summer the kids can enjoy music, fun and frivolity on Fridays from 9:30-10:15 am at McIlvoy Park, 5750 Upham St. This park does not have a covered shelter for shade or seating, so please plan accordingly.
