Adult golf lessons start the week of June 4 at Indian Tree Golf Club, and registration is already in progress. Just like the facility itself, lessons at Indian Tree are top-quality, convenient, fun and affordable. They’re just $60 for residents and $65 for non-residents and include six one-hour lessons (four for the Saturday morning classes), practice balls and clubs, instruction on etiquette, putting, chipping and full swing, and one round on the Par 3 course. Lessons are for beginning and intermediate golfers and take place on weekdays, evenings and Saturday mornings.

If you’ve hesitated to take up golf because of the expense and time commitment, lessons and play at Indian Tree are sure to change that notion. Golf is ideal for all ages and abilities and it’s a great family sport. It works lots of muscle groups with a relatively low injury risk, it gets you outside and moving around, and you can play a Par 3 round in less than 1½ hours. Indian Tree is a public golf facility and fees are extremely reasonable. For more about the golf course, visit indiantree.apexprd.org.
