The Masters swimming program at Apex Park and Recreation District is an outstanding activity for ages 18 and up. Masters promotes a fun, healthy, and social environment for swimmers who are interested in swimming for fitness, participating in triathlons, and/or competitive swimming. Coached workouts are designed to increase endurance, speed, and refine strokes. Participants should possess intermediate to advanced swimming skills, and are encouraged to obtain USMS/COMSA membership.
The group practices at Meyers in the fall, winter and spring months, and at Meyers and Secrest outdoor pool in the summer. JAM membership also includes open/lap swim time at Meyers, Secrest and Lake Arbor pools. Fee options include annual or six-month membership, a 20-punch pass or drop-in.
New participants interested in Masters can try it out free before committing, with a free 7-practice trial. For more information, call 303.467.7142 or email NathanC@ApexPRD.org. General program information, including practice times and fees, can be found at apexprd.org/aquatics.
