Expanded spring-break public skating times are 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 26 through Friday, March 30. The Friday, March 30, 7:15-8:45 p.m., Saturday, March 31, 3:00-4:30 p.m., and Saturday, 7:15-8:45 p.m. public skate sessions will be offered on both rinks, with a light show on the west rink. For extended stick and puck times at the Apex Center Ice Arena, visit apexprd.org for updates.
Younger children will enjoy the Apex Clubhouse, a free multi-level, treehouse-themed play area for ages 1-10. Apex Child Watch is adjacent to this area, where the Child Watch staff can supervise your child while you enjoy the center.
The fees for Child Watch and public skating are not included in the daily Apex Center admission fee. Visit apexprd.org/facility/apex-center for fees and information on those two amenities.
Of course, the popular and exciting aquatics area is open daily during spring break. If you haven’t already done so, visit the newly renovated central play pool! Please note that the aquatics area closes a half-hour before the facility closing.
A general tip to keep in mind for your Apex Center visit: we’re less busy before 10:00 a.m. and after 5:00 p.m. If your schedule permits, consider planning a visit during those times.
We look forward to seeing you at the Apex Center during spring break and any time before and after!
