Salary Range: $27,000 – $37,700

We are seeking a Guest Services staff member to provide registration and admission support for the Apex Center. Specific duties include answering all incoming phone lines, providing customer service to the public (guests), disbursing a variety of information on numerous programs/activities, performing registration procedures and general clerical duties, and completing a variety of projects as assigned by the DGSM, and may be assigned MOD duties. As “Manager on Duty” this position supervises all staff that work in the Apex Center. Works to ensure compliance with the policies, rules, and regulations of the District an Apex Center. Deals extensively with the public to accomplish maximum customer satisfaction. Troubleshoots facility needs and coordinates those needs with appropriate personnel. Awareness and ability to react to unusual or suspicious activity that may cause potential harm or danger to the Apex Center or customers and take appropriate action. Awareness and ability to react to any medical situation that might occur within the Apex Center.
The position requires a High School Diploma with 1 – 2 years of experience in a customer service environment preferred, as well as clerical/administrative experience. Recreation experience preferred. Must have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to use multiple computer software applications including demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and recreation programming software experience highly desired.
