Part-Time Guest Services – Apex Center

Position Title: Apex Guest Services Desk Attendant

Classification: Part-time, non-exempt

Reports to: Operations Assistant Manager – Guest Services

Pay Rate: $12.43-$13.92/hour

Minimum Age: 18 years

Hours: Schedule based on your availability. Weekend availability preferred

Job Summary: Responsible for relaying current knowledge and accurate information on all Apex PRD programs and activities. Specific duties will include, frontline customer support, answering phones, inputting program registration information into recreation programming software, admitting customers into the center, cash handling procedures, processing daily visits, and performing special projects as needed.

As a member of the Apex Park and Recreation team flexible availability is necessary. Part Time Guest Services Facility Assistants may be required to work opening/closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Ability to deliver exceptional customer service skills.

Ability to learn computer data input on computer system.

Ability and willingness to be a successful team player.

Required to demonstrate basic knowledge of math skills.

Ability to make sound decisions and use good judgment under stressful conditions.

Ability to complete work with frequent interruptions and ongoing activities in work area.

Must be mature and dependable.

MaxGalaxy or registration software knowledge preferred.

CPR/First Aid/AED certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
