Apex COVID Info – Health and Safety of Our Staff and Community is Our Highest Priority

Update: Tuesday, April 6, 3:30 p.m.

Jefferson County Public Health has amended the countywide mask order (Public Health Order 20-008), which states masks are no longer required for outdoor public spaces. This means participants as well as spectators at outdoor Apex facilities are no longer required to wear a face covering. Masks are not required indoors when 6-foot social distancing can be maintained. Everyone should remain vigilant and practice social distancing, frequent handwashing, and stay home if they feel ill.

Update: Wednesday, April 21, 2:00 p.m.

Apex Park and Recreation District is pleased to share that the State of Colorado has updated the COVID-19 Statewide Dial to allow recreation centers in Level Blue to operate at 100% capacity with six-foot social distancing still required. This means that visitors can drop-in without a reservation required to any operating Apex facility for fitness, open skate, open swim, etc.

For updated information on hours at all facilities, visit individual facility pages to learn more.

Drop-in fees, punch cards, and membership pass use are returning to pre-COVID structures. Keep an eye out for a pass sale coming soon!

To keep our community safe and to be in line with Jefferson County mandates, masks are still mandatory when inside our facilities, and visitors will still need to social distance, clean equipment after each use, wash hands frequently, avoid visiting us if symptomatic for illness, etc.

Apex will continue to prioritize the health and safety of our customers and maintain our rigorous cleaning protocols on a regular schedule.

Should the State or County move back to Level Yellow, capacity restrictions and other policies may need to be changed to ensure compliance with current health orders. Apex visitors are encouraged to always check our website for the most up-to-date information.

The District will continue to expand facility and program offerings in response to demand and with careful consideration of responsible financial stewardship to our taxpayers. We have immense gratitude for our community’s support and understanding over the past year and we are more excited than ever to continue to provide innovative and accessible recreation opportunities to all. We remain committed to our mission to enhance the health of our community – socially, emotionally, and physically – by being a gathering place and trusted resource for a variety of activities and programs that connect people and improve their quality of life.
