Did you know that more Americans die from cardiac arrest yearly than any other health issue? Over 75% of all cardiac arrests occur in the home or workplace, with over half of them being witnessed by a bystander. Knowing how to perform compression-only CPR and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) can significantly impact the patient’s survival. You’ll get hands-on practice doing compression-only CPR and an AED demonstration from caregivers at Lutheran Hospital and the Arvada Fire Protection District. Learn how to save a life. The event is free, but advanced registration is appreciated. Note: this is a non-certified training, and participants will not receive a CPR certification card.
