Ninja
The ninja programs at Apex Park and Recreation District offer a progressive pathway from basic parent-child movement classes through the strength and agility challenges offered in youth classes. Beginning with programs housed in the gymnastics and Mini Ninja gyms, athletes ages 5 and younger will explore preliminary ninja skills. Mini Ninjas will learn and practice the characteristics necessary to become the best ninjas, like respect for others, listening, and body awareness. When a Mini Ninja turns 6, they move into the youth and teen programs, where ninjas grow to experience classes in the large gymnasium. The youth curriculum focuses on building the physical strength, grip, and stamina needed for advanced obstacle navigation, emphasizing the philosophy of growing as an individual through positivity, coachability, and resiliency.
