The Apex Center Ice Arena features a figure skating program for all levels of skaters ranging from the recreational figure skater to the competitive level. With two NHL size ice surfaces, there is an extensive schedule of freestyle sessions. Specialty programmings such as Aspire, Elite Camp, Power, Edge, and other specialty classes are also offered. All classes take place at the Apex Center Ice Arena.
The Learn to Skate USA program offers top-quality instruction in small group classes providing a fun and safe skating experience for all ages and abilities. Through the world-class curriculum and nationally certified instructors, you will be enthusiastic about learning to ice skate, from your first steps on the ice to the mastery of advanced skills. Learn to Skate USA is the only program endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating, USA Hockey, U.S. Speedskating, and the Special Olympics.
Registration: For safety and quality, it is very important that you register according to the guidelines. Registration closes one week before the first class.
Late registrations will only be accepted as space permits and must be approved through the skating office. Beginning on the first day of a new session, all registrations, transfers, and cancellations must be authorized by the skating office. We reserve the right to cancel or combine classes based on registrations. Make-up classes are offered, based on availability, within the same session.

Looking to enhance your learning experience? When enrolled in the Learn to Skate program, you are eligible to schedule a private booster lesson with one of our valued instructors. These lessons are a great way to help your skater focus and work on skills that are more difficult to achieve and enhance the skills you already know. It also gives the skater a more structured yet fun, additional practice time. Please contact the skating director to set up lessons.

Aspire is a comprehensive program designed for skaters in Basic 5-FreeSkate 6 who want to improve their skills and progress more quickly than is typical with only group lessons. Aspire consists of a 15-min off-ice warm-up, 60-min on-ice class, and 30-min off-ice class. Freestyle Session Pass included.
