The Secrest Recreation Center Teen Center is a welcoming, inclusive, and safe community space for youth to gather, socialize, and recreate. The best way to gain access to the fun is with the new Teen Center Pass. Teens will have access Monday through Friday from 2-6 pm to use the fitness center, gymnasium, and Teen Center (which features air hockey, pool table, Pop-A-Shot, video games, and daily activities). The pass also includes a weight room orientation (orientation is required to be completed before teens can use the weight room). This is an annual pass for the school year that is valid from August-May.
To assist and inform programming options, core competencies have been developed and include:

Apex offers fun and engaging year-round recreational opportunities for teens such as our Teen Expedition camps and Leader in Training programs. These programs are designed to build confidence and self-esteem, promote positive social interactions, teach important leadership skills, provide opportunities to learn the importance of community service and engagement, and help teens discover their passions as they prepare for their futures.
