23,000 square feet of exciting play features, spas and lap pool, plus adult and family spas, and adjacent men’s, women’s and family locker rooms the area. All swimming pools and water features are included in Apex Center admission.
Curved 150-foot tube slide and body slide with waterfall, vortex area with moving current. Water walkers may walk against the current 5-9 am. After 9 am, water walkers must follow lifeguard instructions. Slides turn on at 9 am, Monday-Friday; 11 am, Saturdays; and 9 am, Sundays. Times are subject to change.
Riders under 48 inches tall are not permitted on the large slides. Only single riders allowed on the body slide.
Indoor zero-depth "beach" play area with slides, fountains, waterfalls and geysers.
The middle play pool fountains will be turned on at 9 am, Monday-Friday; 11 am, Saturdays; and 9 am, Sundays. Time are subject to change.
Four 25-yard lanes for swimming, water aerobics and exercise.

The new Apex Center Indoor Playground is now open. The playground is free, just like at your neighborhood park. It’s a multi-level, themed play area for ages 1-10, unless an older child is accompanying a younger sibling. There are tubes, rope ladders, slides, pogo poles, climbing structures, and many other exciting features, including a toddlers-only play space. All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. No food or drinks are allowed inside the playground.
Located in the Apex Center Clubhouse, the Child Watch staff supervise your child while you enjoy the Apex Center.

If you have purchased a Tier One pass for a child, this is a free service. To make sure your child is safe, we’ve installed a security camera in the room, and each child wears a security tag while under our care. We offer this service for ages 6 months through 8 years. Children 6 weeks to 8 years welcome on Mon., Wed., and Fri. from noon until 2 pm.
There is a limit to the number of children and infants allowed in the Child Watch area at one time. First come, first served. For safety during the check in/out process, only 2 families are allowed in that area at a time.

The Apex Center’s Rock Wall offers routes for climbers of all skill levels ages 5 and up. Apex staff will be available to belay up to 10 climbers at a time during our staffed open climb hours. Belay-certified climbers may also climb during any of our drop-in hours (hours are subject to change). To become belay-certified you must take a certification course and/or pass a belay test with one of our instructors during open climb hours. Join one of our many climbing classes or take private lessons with one of our instructors to learn a new skill or work on your technique. For more information, contact RockWall@ApexPRD.org.

Once you get certified, you can climb during all drop-in hours. Rock wall hours are subject to change depending on classes and parties. Call the fitness desk at 303.463.4241 for more information.
All climbers must fill out a Rock Wall Waiver. Climbers under 18 must have a legal guardian sign their waiver. Belay certification is good for one year and re-certification is free if done before expiration and can be done during drop-in climbing hours.

There are three gyms for basketball, pickleball or volleyball – a single gym and a double gym which can be used as one unit or split in half depending on use. Portable seating is available.
Above the three gyms is a walking/running track for a comfortable, safe workout. The track contains three lanes and features both straight and curved sections and a rubberized surface. To travel one mile takes 11.4 laps around the track. Directions switch from clockwise on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays to counter-clockwise on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Gymnasiums will not be available for drop-in play Saturday mornings December through early March from 8:30 am-1:30 pm to accommodate youth basketball.
We’re more fun than a babysitter and a lot cheaper. All activities are well organized, supervised, and include a monthly theme. The evening is geared toward ages 2 to 10 and includes toys and activities in the Apex Center Kids’ Clubhouse, pizza in the party room, gym games, a G rated movie, and snacks. Registration is a must!
