Calling all newborn parents. Do you have a new little one at home who is ready to get out and meet some other baby friends? During this 30-minute class, coaches will lead parents as they guide their infant through movements to increase muscle strength, visual recognition, and body awareness in a gymnastics-based setting designed to promote early social and physical development skills in a soft, secure environment.

Program offerings are divided into babies learning to crawl and babies learning to walk.

The Apex Team Gymnastics Program is a recreational gymnastics team that competes in the Colorado Association of Recreational Athletics among similar programs within Colorado. Our mission is to develop successful high school gymnasts. The team commitment runs September-August, with competitions beginning in late April or early May. Athletes have the opportunity to qualify for competitions at the state level.

Program Mission

To develop the athlete as a whole person: mind, body, and soul by coaching through positive and constructive philosophies. Within each practice, we teach work ethic, respect, time management, and mental toughness in hopes that athletes will carry these lessons into the future.

Program Policies

  • Practice schedules/coaches may change as needed. We will give families as much notice as possible.
  • Make-up classes are not offered for missed classes.
  • Injuries: Only injuries that limit workouts for more than 30 days will merit fee adjustments.

Gymnastics Frequently Asked Questions

When should I register?

Classes fill extremely quickly. Plan to register for class on the day registration opens. See above for exact dates.

What level should my child be in?

All athletes age 6 and older without prior gymnastics experience should start in Level 1. Athletes will be evaluated each session to determine the appropriate level placement for the following session.

What should my child wear to class?

Students should wear tighter-fitting clothing; leotards are preferred. Absolutely no socks, footed tights, clothing with buttons or zippers, or jewelry allowed on the apparatus. Hair should be tied back and out of the face for safety reasons.

Can parents stay to watch?

Parents are welcome to stay to watch both our Mini and Youth Programs. The Mini gymnastics gym has a viewing area outside of the gym, while the gymnastics gym has bleachers and viewing inside the gym. Only participants are allowed on the gymnastics equipment; siblings and spectators must stay in the bleachers. No food, drinks, or gum is allowed inside the gymnastics gym.

How long will my child be at this level?

Gymnastics is a progressive sport with multiple areas of focus. The skills for each level build on the fundamentals from the level prior. For this reason, it is normal for an athlete to remain at the same level for multiple sessions.

What happens if my child misses a class?

Due to ratio restrictions and full programs, we are unable to offer make-ups for missed classes. Please plan to attend all registered classes.

What happens if I need to withdraw from a class?

  • A full refund request will only be granted if the request is received by the gymnastics coordinator 5 business days or more before the activity starts (minus a $5 service fee).
  • A partial refund request will be granted if the request is received by the gymnastics coordinator less than 5 days before the start of the activity. A partial refund is defined as the fee paid minus the initial class and a $5 service fee.
  • No refunds are processed after the activity start date.
  • A full refund will be granted if the activity is canceled by Apex PRD.
