Monitored/Lighted Hours: May-September: Monday through Friday, 5-9 pm and Saturday & Sunday, 7:30 am-noon. Courts are available for general public use during non-monitored, non-programming hours.

Apex Park and Recreation District offers one of the most comprehensive tennis programs found for quality conscience players, at reasonable prices. We will get you playing in no time!

Activities

Every Saturday in March and April, free adult drop in is offered between 9-11 am. Majority of play is doubles; geared to all levels of players. Meet under the bleacher cover to sign in.

Special Events

Arvada Tennis Center holds an annual Block Party comprised of basic lessons, activities, food and fun geared to first time players on up to intermediate level. Browse News & Events for further information, the activities guide, or call the Tennis Center.

Lessons

Group Lessons/Privates for Youth and Adults

Loaner racquets are available. Please wear non-marking, appropriate footwear. Tennis balls provided.

The United States Tennis Association drives teaching methods for youth. Quickstart format is being offered as well as a blending of traditional and non-traditional teaching methods. Instruction takes place at the Arvada Tennis Center and a variety of off-site locations.

Adult group lessons, private, semi-private and small group lessons available, as well.

Up/Down League

Pairs an able-bodied player with a wheelchair player. Chair player may have 2 bounces to return the ball. League play begins in May. Nominal league fee; no USTA membership needed. Contact the Arvada Tennis Center to learn more or visit the Colorado Wheelchair Tennis Foundation, at www.cwtf.net.

Tournaments

USTA sanctioned tournaments for seniors, juniors and adults. Entry forms available at the Arvada Tennis Center, Racquetball & Fitness Center, or on-line at www.usta.com

Adult Leagues

The Arvada Tennis Center offers Senior Breakfast League and Up/Down. North Jeffco Tennis Club offers a full slate of leagues from April through September. Leagues form 2-3 months prior to the start of play. Visit www.northjeffcotennisclub.com for more information.
