Accessible parking is available in the south lot. Staff will provide transportation via golf carts for those requiring assistance to and from the building. To request this service, please call 303.467.7140. Please note that the golf carts can only fit one passenger at a time, so please allow a little extra time. We appreciate your patience in this matter. Please reach out to guest services or management if you have any questions.
The current George J. Meyers Swimming Center parking lot is closed for construction on the new building. All parking and child drop-offs need to happen in the parking lot south of the building. Please follow the signage directing you where to go. You will need to walk around the building and enter and exit through the main doors. Check-in will remain the same. Please do not enter or exit through any other doors as they may lead to construction zones.

The George J. Meyers Swimming Center (Meyers Pool) is a 50-meter aquatics facility owned by the city of Arvada and operated and maintained by the Apex Park and Recreation District. The regional facility hosts a wide variety of users, from swim lessons to competitive swimming events to recreational lap swimmers and swim classes. The facility is home to North Jeffco Swim Team, a 300+ member youth competitive swimming club and five Jeffco Public Schools high school swim teams that use the pool as their home facility for practices and meets.
Swimmers must have a Masters pass or pay the drop-in fee. No reservations are required. Check-in when you arrive.
Masters swimming will be at Meyers until May 9.
Masters swimming will be at Secrest Outdoor Pool May 13-24.
To compete with US Masters Swimming, please register on the US Masters Swimming website. You do not have to hold a membership to swim with our team, although competing is fun.
Apex Park and Recreation District is excited to partner with the city of Arvada and Jefferson County Public Schools to replace George J. Meyers Swimming Center and build a new aquatics complex in the north area. All parties involved realize the current facility has a limited life span and serves a great need to the multi-generational users in our area and have set a goal to replace it with a new 50-meter natatorium swimming center. The project is still in the early planning phase, with several factors to consider, including design features and facility programming. If you would like to be added to an interest list to receive more information about public outreach, please email [email protected] and keep your eye on the city of Arvada's Meyers Pool Replacement page for more information.
