July is National Park and Recreation Month, and to celebrate “Build Together, Play Together,” Apex Park and Recreation District will be playing Apex Monopoly with fun activities, fitness classes, and more for all your social, emotional, and physical needs. Pick up your game board at any guest services desk and use the entire month of July to work your way around the board and collect Apex PRD facilities. Activities include Popsicles at the Pad, Sunnies at Secrest, Dog Days of Summer, and a few surprises throughout the month. Play along with Apex PRD and help us build our community by playing together. Collect three facilities and win a “Build Together, Play Together” bracelet. Collect six facilities and win a cup of Apex PRD swag. Collect nine facilities and be entered into the grand prize drawing for a 20-punch pass.

Submit photos of you, your family, or your friends visiting facilities and completing challenges for extra entries into the grand prize drawing. Each picture equals one extra entry. Post your photos on social media and tag Apex PRD and the National Recreation and Park Association for an entry into the grand prize drawing of a 20-punch card. On Instagram, tag @Apex_PRD. On Facebook, tag @ApexPRD. Also, tag @NRPA or @NationalRecreationandParkAssociation and use the official hashtag #BuildTogetherPlayTogether.

After you complete an Apex PRD activity, see any guest service member and receive an Apex PRD facility game piece. Tape your game piece to your game board and continue to work your way around the game board by visiting our facilities around the district.
