Participating in our enrichment activities allows your children to learn and grow while enhancing their fine and gross motor skills, creativity, teamwork, communication, critical thinking, literacy, and free play. Secrest Teen Center Pass

Pride Night
At Secrest Recreation Center, Pride Night is an event exclusively for LGBTQ+ teens and their allies. Participants are encouraged to reach beyond their comfort zone and join their peers in a safe and engaging environment. Teens will have access to the gymnasium, indoor pool, and the Teen Center outside of business hours. First Friday of each month.
Secrest and Teen Takeover
A social event for youth and teens to join their peers in a safe and engaging environment. Participants are encouraged to bring friends and make new friends. Youth will have access to the gymnasium, indoor pool, and the Teen Center outside of business hours. Third Friday on each month. Ages vary based on month: odd months, ages 7-12; even months, ages 11-17.
Parents’ Night Out at Apex
Parents, need a night out? Our certified staff is here for your childcare needs year-round. Join us on the second Friday of each month at the Apex Center. The kids get an evening filled with swimming, crafts, dancing, and pizza dinner is included, all while you get to have a night out to catch up on errands, dinner plans, or just relax. Ages 2-12.

Apex offers fun and engaging year-round recreational opportunities for teens, such as our Teen Adventure camps and Leader in Training programs. These programs are designed to build confidence and self-esteem, promote positive social interactions, teach important leadership skills, provide opportunities to learn the importance of community service and engagement, and help teens discover their passions as they prepare for their futures.
Search and Register for After School Care
After school care is designed to provide transportation to and from school, creating an enriching and well-structured environment for kindergarten through fifth-grade students. The program creates a safe and enjoyable learning atmosphere where students can participate in activities that promote intellectual, creative, and healthy development. Licensed staff aims to foster youth development by providing a secure and engaging environment for students to explore their potential during out of school time.
Daily Schedule
- 2:35-3:30 pm: Check-in and snack
- 3:30-4:15 pm: Homework
- 4:15-4:45 pm: Choice recess
- 4:45-5:30 pm: Clubs and classes
- 5:30-6 pm: Check out and clean up
Participants must be enrolled at Hackberry Hill, Sierra or Fremont Elementary School.
A non-refundable registration fee of Res. $68 (non-res. $78) will be charged at registration.
