From 1965 to 1996, her column At Wit’s End ran in 900 newspapers, leading to bestselling books like The Grass is Always Greener Over the Septic Tank. Bombeck gave voice to overlooked homemakers through laughter. This one-hour program includes a 40-minute in-character monologue, followed by Q and A sessions with Erma and the scholar and presenter.
