Don’t miss your chance to get out and hike before summer is over. Join us for an easy hike on Benjamin Loop, rated as a level of exertion (LOE) 1-2. Adventurers hiking this trail will complete 4 miles and ascend over 630 feet of elevation. The trail follows a ridge and offers breathtaking vistas. Wildlife such as downy woodpeckers, mountain bluebirds, Steller’s jays, and wild turkeys can be seen in this area. You will also see some views of Sugarloaf Mountain before finishing the trail and enjoying your well-earned lunch. Please bring a bag lunch, hydration, and recommended hiking equipment. Transportation is included. Meet at the Community Recreation Center, 6842 Wadsworth Blvd., by 7:30 am.
