Hike Raccoon Trail

Explore this 2.6-mile loop trail at Golden Gate Canyon State Park. The trail leads through fields and forests and takes users to beautiful vistas. It also encounters excellent elevation gains, especially when at the peak and able to view Panorama Peak. During the fall, the aspen trees are golden yellow, making for some incredible views.2.6 miles round-trip.462 feet of elevation gain. Starting elevation: 9300 feet. Level of Exertion (LOE): 2-3Please bring a bag lunch, hydration, and recommended hiking equipment. Transportation is included. Meet at the Community Recreation Center, 6842 Wadsworth Blvd., by 8 am.
