Indoor Water Park
23,000 Square Feet of Water Fun
No matter what your age, you’ll find this area irresistible. Moving water creates a dramatic interplay with Colorado mountain and mining themes for an unforgettable aquatic recreation experience. The body and tube slides at the area’s western end are 150 feet long, curving outside the building before splashing down. This area also contains a vortex pool where you can walk against the current for exercise and therapy or drift with the current for a “lazy river” experience.
An indoor water playground dominates the central swimming pool – the first time this equipment has ever been built indoors. It has everything a kid of any age needs for water, fun slides, fountains, waterfalls, and geysers. This swimming pool has a “beach” feature. On the east end of the aquatics area is a four-lane 25-yard lap pool for swimming workouts, water aerobics, and exercise. Next to it, the adult spa is nestled among rocks, trees, and other natural features. The family spa faces the bank of windows to the south, reflecting the natural mountain theme. Spacious men’s, women’s, and family locker rooms adjoin the area.
All the water features are included in your Apex Center admission. Remember, the Aquatics area closes one hour earlier than the rest of the center.
