Summer Concert Series Friend Form

A colorful bear with yellow eyes and a blue background with yellow text that reads "we fund culture" and pink text that reads "SCFD."We are pleased to announce the Summer Concert Series, which is made possible by a grant from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD). The SCFD stretches its resources to enrich the lives of metro-wide residents by asking grantees to seek additional local support for event costs. That is why we are asking citizens like you to join us in presenting these fun community gatherings. Donations (tax-deductible) of any amount are appreciated and accepted throughout the concert season, but for complete donor benefits, we recommend donating early. Donations are acknowledged at the concerts unless the donor requests to be kept anonymous.

Over the years, funding has allowed us to produce 69 free concerts and 28 children’s performances, with an accumulated attendance of 32,050 people, including 1,580 in 2024. Donations for the concerts help defray costs, including hiring entertainers, contracting a sound technician, renting port-a-lets, staffing, and helping us promote this free opportunity. Each year, we strive to get this concert information to financially challenged people by distributing flyers through the Community Table (Arvada Food Bank), local preschools, assisted living centers, subsidized housing and other venues. We will again collect food for the food bank at each concert.
