Rock Climbing
Replicating a natural Colorado rock wall, this spacious and exciting feature can accommodate up to seven climbers at a time. There are routes to challenge everyone, novice to veteran. Expert staff are on hand during peak hours for your safety and enjoyment. To use the climbing wall during non-staffed hours, you’ll need to pass a certification course. The climbing wall is open for certified climbers during normal business hours; Apex staff is scheduled to belay for non-certified climbers.
Tennis/climbing shoes and dry clothes that do not hinder movement are required. Ropes, harnesses and belay devices are available for checkout. Climbing wall is for ages 5 and older.
Wall attendants are available to belay:

- Sat. and Sun.: 11 am-5 pm
Climbing Parties
Add the climbing wall to your party activities! Belay attendants are $25/hour. Personal belay attendants can enhance the climbing experience for novice and expert climbers alike. To ensure availability, please make your reservation for an attendant at least two weeks in advance.
Once You Get Certified, You Can Climb During All Apex Operating Hours
All climbers must fill out a Rock Wall Waiver each calendar year (waivers expire on Dec. 31). Climbers under 18 must have a legal guardian sign their waiver. Belay certification is good for one year and re-certification is free if done before expiration and can be done during open climbing hours.
