If you're planning a party, sports tournament, or special event, Apex Park and Recreation District’s reservation options provide Arvada's premier opportunities for parties, groups, rooms, and field rentals.
Weekend birthday party reservations for June-August will receive a 20% discount.

Randall Room
- Available to rent during weekday operating hours. Admission fees will not be required when the room is booked for meetings (unless you plan to swim or use our gymnasiums). Fee: Res. $120 (non-res. $152) per hour.
- Weekends are only available for rental as a party package, which includes a one-and-a-half-hour party and 40 admission wristbands. Additional wristbands may be purchased on the day of the party. Fee: Res. $225 (non-res. $305).

Party Room
- Available to rent during weekday operating hours. Admission fees will not be required when the room is booked for meetings (unless you plan to swim or use our gymnasiums). Fee: Res. $100 (non-res. $136) per hour.
- Weekends are only available for rental as a party package, which includes a one-and-a-half-hour party and 40 admission wristbands. Additional wristbands may be purchased on the day of the party. Fee: Res. $300 (non-res. $406).
- Everyone who enters the Party Room for the party will need an admission wristband.

Summit Room
- Available to rent during weekday operating hours. Admission fees will not be required when the room is booked for meetings (unless you plan to swim or use our gymnasiums). Fee: Res. $76 (non-res. $105) per hour.
- Weekends are only available for rental as a party package, which includes a two-hour party and 20 admission wristbands. Additional wristbands may be purchased on the day of the party. Fee: Res. $250 (non-res. $338).
- Everyone who enters the Summit Room for the party will need an admission wristband.

Indoor Playground and Child Watch Room
Available to rent on Saturday and Sunday. Renting the indoor playground and child Watch room gives your party one-and-a-half hours of private access to the indoor playground for play and the child watch room for food, presents, and activities. Food and drink must remain in the child watch room and are not allowed in the indoor playground.
- 1.5-hour party includes access for up to 33 party participants, including parents. Fee: Res. $245 (non-res. $300).
- The fee does not include access to the Apex Center pool, gymnasiums or other paid activities. Daily admission to the pool and gymnasiums can be purchased at a discounted cost with an indoor playground and child watch room reservation.

Party Add-ons
- Private Ice Skating Instructor: $30 per half-hour, paid on the day of the party. Reservations must be made two weeks in advance.
- Randall Room Kitchen: Res. $25 (non-res. $35).
- Imagination Building Blocks:
- These large, lightweight, loose foam blocks are designed to encourage child-directed, unstructured free play. Kids can build forts or other structures and design their own course of play. Res. $55 (non-res. $70) per hour.
- Imagination building blocks are only available in the Randall Room and the indoor playground.
Main Gymnasium
- Available to rent during regular operating hours. Limited availability in the evenings. No food or drink is allowed. Fee: Res. $197 (non-res. $255) per hour.
Auxiliary Gymnasium
- Available to rent during regular operating hours. Limited availability in the evenings. No food or drink is allowed. Fee: Res. $98 (non-res. $121) per hour.
Apex Center Group Reservations
Are you interested in booking a group reservation at the Apex Center? Please visit the Apex Center Group Reservations page. Group reservations may only be booked Monday-Friday and are subject to availability. Some blackout dates may apply.
Rock Wall Group Reservations
Are you looking for a special private group event, a team bonding activity, or a fun way to celebrate a special occasion? The Apex Center rock wall is available for private group reservations. All private reservations must occur outside of scheduled classes and open climb times.
The $26 per participant includes a one-hour booking, all equipment, and two supervisors/belayers. Please note that private groups will not receive detailed climbing instruction or training. Instructions will be provided on equipment use, safety procedures, and basic climbing procedures. Climbing-specific coaching requires booking a private rock climbing lesson. The staff will facilitate games and challenges if desired.
All private groups must book a minimum of seven days before the requested event to allow time to schedule staff. Cancellations will only be accepted with 72 hours' notice.
A minimum number of participants is four, and a maximum of 10 for a one-hour booking. Larger groups will require multiple time blocks.

Apex Center After-Hours Rentals

Apex Center Ice Arena
The Apex Center Ice Arena is a great venue to host your next birthday party. Please contact Liz Scott at [email protected] to book an ice skating party.
Ice skating is not included with room rentals.
